The Victorian Energy Upgrades program is a government initiative designed to help Victorians lower their energy bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by providing incentives for upgrading to more efficient appliances.
This program provides incentives for households to install efficient reverse cycle air conditioners, which offer both heating and cooling for your home. Only products that meet the VEU program requirements are eligible for installation under this program.
To qualify for a discount on the installation of a heating and cooling system, you must choose an approved product. The sale and installation of your new system must be conducted by an accredited provider.
All Victorian households are eligible to participate in the program and can receive incentives for energy-efficient products and services.
The amount of rebate you can receive—up to $7,000 in some cases—depends on the HVAC equipment being removed and the energy-efficient air conditioners being installed.
